Extracurricular Activities
At South Side Bee Branch School District, learning doesn't stop when the last bell rings! We are proud to offer a diverse and exciting range of extracurricular activities designed to help every student explore their passions, build new skills, and connect with their peers. We encourage all our students to get involved, discover new interests, and make lasting memories.
Grades 9-12
Prerequisites: Enrolled in a band class.
Grades 7-12
Prerequisites: Willingness to learn and knowledge of chess; grade approval according to AAA rules for chess.
Grades 7-12
Prerequisites: Tryouts for specific games.
Grades 9-12
Prerequisites: Must have completed at least one business class (7th and 8th classes count).
Grades 9-12
Prerequisites: Previously or currently enrolled in any Family and Consumer Sciences (FACS) program.
Grades 7-12
Prerequisites: None
Grades 8-12
Prerequisites: Previously or currently enrolled in any agriculture class.
Grades 7- 8
Prerequisites: To be eligible, a minimum GPA of 2.5 is required. Students must either try out for the squad or have been on the team at their previous school before moving.
Grades 7-9
Prerequisites: Willingness to participate in answering questions as part of a team of four other students in a tournament-style atmosphere; grade approval according to AA rules for Quiz Bowl.
Grades 9-12
