Next week, our kindergarten classes are kicking off their annual Kindergarten Color Days! This is a fun, interactive way to help our youngest learners master their colors, especially when they see all of us out and about wearing the color of the day. We invite all students and staff to join in the fun by wearing black on Monday (Aug 24), brown on Tuesday (Aug 25), orange on Wednesday (Aug 26), pink on Thursday (Aug 27), and white on Friday (Aug 28). Dressing up together helps reinforce their daily lessons and builds a supportive, vibrant school community. Thank you for helping us make learning colorful and exciting for our new kindergartners!.

Join us on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, starting at 8:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. for the Blood Moon Energy Blood Drive hosted at South Side High School – Bee Branch. Donors should look for the Bloodmobile parked on campus during drive hours. In appreciation for your lifesaving donation, all participants will receive an exclusive Blood Moon T-shirt, a Moon Pie, and a choice of park ticket while supplies last. Mark your calendars for Scouting Recruitment Night on Thursday, August 27, at 6:00 PM in the school cafeteria. This evening is a great opportunity for students and their parents or guardians to discover everything Scouting offers. Attendees can learn about upcoming activities, ask questions, and speak directly with group leaders. If your child is excited to get involved, you can also complete registration on the spot.
